Fosudo has started performing on stage well before Nollywood developed. He has appeared in a number of soaps before Nollywood came into limelight and in 1980 was featured in the Sound of Destiny. He has starred in many other movies, such as the Third Eye for NTA, also appeared in Ripples and others even before Nollywood was born.

Dr. Fosudo is a research associate and department chief in the Department of theater and music at the Lagos State University (LASU). In the past he was also Director of the University Press and Public Relations Department.

Fosudo was managed and mentored by prominent academicians such as Wole Soyinka, Dapo Adelugba, Bode Osanyin and Kole Omotosho in Ibadan city.

Marriage

The actor got wedded to veteran actor and the former Cultural Director of Ekiti State, Mrs. Yetunde Fosudo.

Awards & Nomination

Fosudo wins a Nollywood Legend Prize and the Best Male Actor Prize in December 2017 for his brilliant character portrayed in the movie True Confession.
