Plusnet offers an average speed of download at 11Mb for ADSL, and 36Mb or 66Mb for fiber optic depending on your choice of package. Their fastest service has a quoted average slightly higher than some of their competitors.
For the Upload speeds, Plusnet promises 1Mb for ADSL, 9.5Mb for 36Mb fiber and 19.5Mb for 66Mb fiber. Their fiber upload speeds are slightly faster than some of their competitors, making the brand a solid choice for those likely to be uploading frequently.

Plusnet has no download limits, all their package is truly unlimited.
Although recently, it did manage web traffic, which slowed some users’ connections on certain tasks at peak times. But it’s all in the past now, you really can use your connection unrestricted, which is very good.

Plusnet offers a fixed price guarantee for broadband and phone line rental. This means you won’t be hit with a surprise price increase in the middle of the contract. Plusnet router

Plusnet broadband has two different home broadband routers for new customers. 
If you’re signing up for a Plusnet fiber connection, they offer a Plusnet Hub One router. The router provides dual-band Wi-Fi (for operating both 802.11n and 802.11ac Wi-Fi networks) which delivers faster connections on devices that support the 5Ghz 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard. 
Those using Plusnet ADSL receive the Plusnet Hub Zero router. Although it is a fairly basic model that supports 802.11n Wi-Fi only, meaning that you may not get the best data speeds on newer equipment. The broadband allows the use of third party routers so users can choose their own gear if they need something more powerful.

Plusnet TV

It’s not widely advertised, but Plusnet does also offer a TV package. Plusnet TV is a very similar offering to BT TV and TalkTalk TV – you get a YouView box (either a basic model for viewing only or more expensive YouView+ with recording) with BT Sport Lite and a selection of premium channels, alongside the Freeview line-up.
