Everyone loves to be online, whether it’s as simple as surfing the net, updating social media, downloading your favorite movies or complex activities such as blogging, digital marketing, running a YouTube channel among others, we all require the internet for our day to day activities.

With that in mind, let’s jump right into the review of Suddenlink internet.

Suddenlink internet review 2022 – the pros and cons

Suddenlink’s strategy seems to be this: offer affordable, high-speed internet within the places where the most important, worst internet service providers (ISPs) haven’t yet dominated the market.

But before you hop on the Suddenlink bandwagon, confirm you read abreast of its less flashy attributes: price increases and costs.

Pros of Suddenlink internet

  • Very Fast speeds
  • Price for all times on 400 and 1,000 Mbps plans
  • High-speed internet in rural areas
  • Customizable Plans

Cons of Suddenlink internet

  • Higher Than Average Prices
  • Data Limits
  • The subscription price is bound to increase after a year for  200 Mbps.

Suddenlink internet speed and data

If you’re trying to find quick downloads, Suddenlink starts you at a whopping 200 Mbps and goes up all the thanks to one gig (1,000 Mbps).
Those speeds are quite enough to stay most families streaming Parks and Recreation over and over or enjoying a game of Overwatch together.
We can’t point out any cold, hard data that says you’ll generally get the speeds you buy with Suddenlink, we will point you to some internet speed tips just in case you don’t get those speeds.

Data caps

Suddenlink says “No problem!” to unlimited data. And that’s what we wish to hear.
We did find some mismatched info out there that said there’s a 350 GB data cap on the 200 Mbps plan. which will change where you reside, so keep an eye fixed out. a knowledge cap that low will cause you some serious grief when it involves streaming and gaming.

Higher Than Average Prices

Suddenlink allows their customers to customize their service plans, prices vary from customer to customer. Additionally, prices vary counting on location. due to this, potential customers aren’t ready to obtain a quote unless they supply a physical address. They advertise that their internet plans start at $34.99 monthly. While this is considered to be fairly okay, it’s on the upper end for low-tier packages within the industry. There are several other providers that provide lower prices for similar speeds.

Data Limits

Suddenlink customers do need to keep an eye fixed on what proportion of data they use monthly because the corporation has set data limits on each of its internet packages. Data caps for every package are as follows:

  • 250 GB per month
  • 350 GB per month
  • 450 GB per month
  • 550 GB per month
  • Unlimited

If a customer goes over the info limit for his or her respective data plan, they’re going to be required to pay an overage fee.

Customizable Plans

Many people use the web on a day to day, but each customer has different needs when it involves internet usage. For instance, some people want the fastest download speeds available, no matter the price, while others prefer average speeds and a coffee, at an affordable price. Suddenlink’s packages meet the varying needs of its customers through customizable service plans. Suddenlink customers can choose which services they need (internet, TV, phone, home security) and the way much of every service they might like. this enables the customer to urge exactly what they have at a price point that matches their budget.

 Fast Speeds

Suddenlink offers four-speed options for his or her customers:

  • 50 Mbps (download), 5 Mbps (upload)
  • 100 Mbps (download), 10 Mbps (upload)
  • 200 Mbps (download), 20 Mbps (upload)
  • 1 GB (download), 50 Mbps (upload)

Most internet providers offer download speeds that are within Suddenlink’s ranges (50 Mbps and 100 Mbps), but there are only a few providers that provide accelerates to 1 Gbps. This is often an incredibly fast download speed and makes Suddenlink stand out in the industry.

Conclusion

Getting affordable and stable internet service is a dream every Nigerian hopes to have in this modern day. With the updates constantly added to smartphones, it makes the devices consume much data and this will lead to Internet users seeking the best internet service providers to use for personal or for businesses. Suddenlink is a pretty good service provider and I would actually recommend them to anyone looking for stable internet services.
