Shortly, precisely in 1996, Ayo proceeded to join the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and kickstarted her acting career professionally after observing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Her first screen appearance was on TV soap opera “Palace” a movie masterminded by Tunji Bamishigbin.
Not long after, Ayo dabbled into the Yoruba-language film industry, where she was able to exemplify and showcase her acting talent and professionalism, she has since starred in several Yoruba and English Nollywood blockbusters which have immensely contributed to her successes, fame, and achievements. She has directed and masterminded her own movie projects and featured in more than 100 Nollywood movies.
