Childhood and Educational Background
He was born Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke on the 13th of May, 1961 into the family of Ayoola Adeleke, a Muslim father and Nnenna Adeleke, an Igbo Christian mother in the present day Enugu State.
Ademola’s father, Late Senator Raji Ayoola Adeleke, was the Balogun of Ede land in Osun State. He was a politician who served as a senator in the second republic and worked alongside Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the premier of Western Nigeria.
When the time was due, Ademola was enrolled into the Methodist Primary School, Surulere Lagos. He later moved to Old Oyo State, where he completed his primary education at the Nawarudeen Primary School, Ikire.
From there he moved to Seventh Day Adventist Secondary school, Ede and later to Muslim Grammar School, Ede in Old Oyo State where finished his secondary education. Alongside his two brothers, Ademola left Nigeria for America where he did his graduate studies.
While in America, he attended Jacksonville State University, where he majored in Criminal Justice but also studied Political studies.

Senator Ademola Adeleke is a politician, businessman, and an administrator. Between 1985 and 1989, Ademola Adeleke worked as a service contractor with Quicksilver Courier Company, a company located in Atalanta Georgia USA.
In 1990 he moved to Origin International Company, a flavor and fragrance manufacturing company where he occupied the position as a vice president till 1994. From 2001 to 2016, he served as the group executive director at Pacific Holdings, a company owned by his brother, Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s father.
In the political sphere, Ademola Adeleke has also made remarkable landmarks. After the death of his brother Senator Isiaka Adeleke in 2017, he contested for the Osun West by-election under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He later emerged the winner as the Senator representing that zone.
In July 2018, Senator Ademola Adeleke emerged the PDP gubernatorial flag bearer against the Osun State governorship elections. He defeated Akin Ogunbiyi by seven votes.
Certificate Scandal
Following the outcome of the Osun State guber elections, Ademola was charged to court for certificate scandals. It was found out that the secondary school certificate he bore had Osun State, whereas at the date of his graduation from the school, Osun State had not been created; it was still Oyo State.
The result of the elections was later declared inconclusive by the INEC and rerun was done in September 2018. Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola of APC was later declared the winner of the election. A tribunal sitting in Abuja on Friday the 22nd March 2019 declared Senator Ademola Adeleke the right winner of the Osun State gubernatorial elections.
Senator Ademola Adeleke is the father of two music artists: B-Red and Sina Rambo and also to Nike Adeleke. He is also an uncle to David Adeleke, Davido.
