AmLactin Alpha Hydroxy moisturizing lotion Contains 12% Lactic Acid. Manufactured by Maple Grove – based upsher Smith laboratories, which originated in 1919.

What was my experience using this Lotion?

I actually got the product for mild Exfoliating, because I have read some Wonderful reviews about this lotion by its users, which prompted and motivated me to get one and try it out for myself. Though I use Tretinion gel 0.1% (Retin a) with Hyaluronic acid serum which has been really doing wonders on my skin, but I thought I should give AmLactin a try just to see how it works out.

I have being using this lotion for 2weeks and 4 days now, and I think it’s time to give my own personal review about this product.

The first 4 days of using AmLactin I felt the impact already, my skin was So soft and well moist. After a week of application I discovered some white flaky stuffs on my skin, when I looked closer, guess what? It was my skin shedding off dead skin cells. The good thing about this Lotion is, it keeps your skin well hydrated and moisturized and at the same thing mildly exoliates your skin thereby revealing a brighter new skin underneath. AmLactin Lotion gave me a similar result with Fair & White Lait AHA Lactic Acid Lotion

I was so happy when I saw my skin shedding off dead layers, i usually use baking soda to scrub off the dead skin flakes on my skin. Indeed it was really pleased with the results and I can confidently advice anyone to give AmLactin Alpha hydroxy lotion a try.

What’s the product consistency?

AmLactin is creamy in texture. Though the smell is not great, but it’s not horrible either and it absorbs very quickly when applied on the skin. It’s adviced apply a thin layer when applying, don’t use much.

Product Directions:

For best results, apply to dry skin twice a day. You can also use along moisturizing Carrier oils such as jojoba oil, Argan oil, etc

Note: Avoid applying on sensitive areas such as the eyes, the lips area, vaginal area, broken skin area, shaved areas and most importantly avoid letting the lotion get Into your mouth.
