Ever since HMD acquired Nokia, the brand has seen some major changes in its smartphone technology. Rolling out modern devices that leverage Android one technology. The Nokia 7.2 is one of the latest devices from the Nokia Family. In this post, we will get to see the Nokia 7.2 review, the device specifications, and the price.
The Nokia 7.2 is a mid-range device that features a 6.35-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. See our list of the top 10 phones in the world. The phone runs on Android one version 10 and is powered by a 3500mAh battery and supports fast charging.
In terms of storage, the Nokia 7.2 packs 6GB of RAM and for the internal storage, it comes with 128GB. The smartphone also supports an external SD card of up to 512GB, which is reasonably good in an event you need to expand your storage. The SD slot can be found on the right side of the device. It is also where the dual nano-SIM is inserted.
Talking about the photography of the device, the Nokia 7.2 packs triple camera setup at the back consisting of 48MP quad pixel camera, 5MP depth sensor and 8MP sensor with ultra-wide light, it also features a flashlight. For the selfie camera, it features a 20MP quad pixel. Both the front and the rear camera comes with the latest ZEISS optics technology.
Moving on to the display, the 7.2 looks almost exactly the same as its predecessor lower-end relative, the Nokia 6.2. Although it differs in two main features, between the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2, it also comes in Cyan green color, in addition to black and ice blue, and that the rear glass panel on the 7.2 has been frosted, instead of the usual normal glossy glass.
Video recording is done at up to 4K resolution while using the main rear camera, and the output footage looks pretty good. It’s important to note that the 4K resolution is not as impressive or stabilized as 4K recordings from higher-end smartphones, but it’s perfectly usable. This can’t be said for the 1080p video you can capture using the ultra-wide-angle shooter, as it lacks enough detail and resolution to be considered reasonably okay.
Some other features of the smartphone include a fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera, it also supports 4G LTE on both SIM and is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, with an AColorsted Adaptive Battery. Performance
The CPU model featured in the Nokia 7.2’s body is the Snapdragon 660. Currently, the octa-core CPU is not considered a screamer here, but it tends to perform reasonably okay. The 660 SnapDragon that if featured in the Nokia 7.2 is one or two times faster, making the experience fairly good.
The GPU is Adreno 512. Subjecting the device to popular games like AFK Arena and Mortal Kombat, the Nokia 7.2 performed reasonably okay and there was little loss of frames while gaming.
Conclusion
The Nokia 7.2 review above shows that the device is a reasonably decent device that is cost-friendly for people looking for a midrange to the high-end device at a budget price. If you are a fan of the Nokia Brand, then I would recommend this device to you or anyone else, in general, looking to buy a smartphone.
