2. Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships

Application Deadline: 22 March 2019 (annual)

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships are for candidates from least developed and lower-middle-income Commonwealth countries, for part-time Master’s study by distance learning on selected courses offered by UK universities.

The scholarships provide full tuition fees and all other compulsory costs of studying a UK Master’s course by distance learning. This includes the full cost of any residential components of a course.

4. Josephine de Karman Fellowship Trust

Established in 1954 by aeronautics expert Dr. Theodore von Karman in honor of his late sister, the Josephine de Karman Fellowship Trust provides $22,000 annually to eight graduate students who are pursuing a Ph.D. at an accredited university in the United States.

International learners without U.S. citizenship are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to Ph.D. students in the humanities.

Applications must include letters of recommendation, publications, several chapters of dissertation research, and transcripts.

Established by the American Sephardi Federation, the Broome and Allen Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students of Sephardic descent who are focusing their college education on Sephardic studies.

7. ETSU International Students Academic Merit Scholarship

For all new international students seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree at East Tennessee State University, the International Students Academic Merit Scholarship can be used to cover 50 percent of the total tuition rates for up to eight consecutive semesters.

8. EWC Graduate Degree Scholarships for Asia and the Pacific

Sponsored by the East-West Center, the Graduate Degree Fellowship Scholarships offer funding for a maximum of 24 months to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree of study at the EWC of the University of Hawaii. 13. Kala Singh Memorial Scholarships

In memory of an accomplished audiologist killed at age 36 during an attempted hijacking of an airplane in Karachi, Pakistan, the Kala Singh Memorial Scholarships are gifted for $5,000 by the American Speech-Language-Hearing (ASH) Foundation.

Each year, three international students enrolled full-time in master’s or Ph.D. programs in the communication sciences and disorders in the United States will be selected.

14. Kosciuszko Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study

Offered by the World Bank Family Network (WBFN) since 1981, the Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund currently offers 24 annual PhD scholarships for international students from developing countries who will study in the U.S., Canada, or South Africa.

The Global Scholarship Alliance (GSA) Scholarship program, qualifying international nurses are provided academic tuition assistance to accredited universities across the United States to learn about clinical nursing practices through practical training and on-campus employment.

International students may receive the fully funded scholarships to cover the costs of tuition, books, fees, and a new computer for success in a BSN, RN to MSN, BSN to MSN, or post-masters certificate program.
