How to check my Opay account number

Your Opay account number is not so far fetched, your Opay account number is your phone number, the phone number you used in opening your Opay account, take for an example, my phone number used in opening my Opay account is 08114900422, then my Opay account number is 8114900422. So basically, your Opay account number is your phone number used to open Opay account without the first Zero figure.

This is because CBN uses a 10 digit system for NUBAN, your phone number is 11 digit, Opay through its PAYCOM service adopts the 10 digits of your phone number without the first Zero as your Opay account number, you can use to receive funds, from any bank account in Nigeria. Your bank name is PAYCOM, your account number is your phone number without the first 10 digits.

Opay USSD Code- *955#

Opay introduced the mobile USSD code service channel in late 2019, the code allows users on the platform to perform a number of transaction (without internet data) such as:

  • Make transfer
  • Buy data and airtime
  • Check your account balance
  • Make withdrawal and lots more.

At first the code works on the three major telecom providers in Nigeria, Airtel, MTN and 9mobile, but not yet for glo users, it’s possible today that Glo users have been added to the list, so you can just check that out by dialing the code on the glo mobile number you used in creating your Opay account.
