2022 JAMB Registration, How To Register For 2022 UTME

Reports from Mitrobe indicates that it is expected that JAMB Registration 2021 will start on 11 January 2021.

When will the JAMB 2021 registration begin? How much will the form cost? What is the form’s deadline? What are the steps involved in registering for UTME? We understand that these are some of the questions that comes into your mind as you hit the gas on your preparations to get admission this year to a tertiary institution of your choice.

Please bear in mind that the official record of approved CBT centers for 2021 UTME registration is not yet published by JAMB, but however, the approved CBT centers will be updated by Mitrobe network before the slated examination date.

Is Form  Out for JAMB 2021?

Reports from mitrobe network states that the registration application form for JAMB 2021 will start on 18 January 2021 and close on 19 February 2020. The CBT examination will start from March 14 to April 4, 2021.

The mock examination will run until 22 February 2021, while the UTME will run from 14 March to 4 April. As the number is compulsory for all candidates, candidates are required to register and acquire their National Identity Number from NIMC.

How Much Will Be The Cost Of 2021 JAMB Form?

For 2021 cbt, the cost of the JAMB form is between four thousand naira and six thousand naira ( ₦4,000 – ₦6,000).

The registration, the e-pin and the novel will be paid for by you (it might be  free).

Before you proceed to another step, just ensure that you have your NIN and profile code at hand.

If you have registered for the mock exam, on the day of your exam, you will pay ₦700

How to Register for the 2021 JAMB Exam

  • Here are some documents you will need before we proceed to highlighting the steps to take for JAMB 2021 registration:
  • A cell phone number and personal e-mail address
  • A profile for JAMB
  • JAMB ePIN registration payment
  • Together with your personal information, the profile you created and proof of payment, go to any accredited CBT centers.

Steps that you should take to complete the registration process for JAMB 2021

1. REGISTRATION OF PROFILE:

The cell phone number used for the text message is linked directly to the name of the candidate and will be used in all communications related to his/her 2021 Application/Examination. One phone (mobile) number can be used by one candidate.

The candidate must send by text (SMS) his/her name [Surname, First-Name, Middle-Name (if available) to a maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces between names = 40 characters in total to 55019, e.g. Akpabio Godswill Obot (Surname and first name required).

The candidate receives a profile code of 10 characters with the same telephone number.

2. IN CASE OF ERROR/LOSS OF PROFILE SELF HELP CODE:

  • Send [CORRECT Surname First-Name Middle-Name] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number to correct an error in the candidate’s name.
  • Send [RESEND] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number to recover a lost profile code.

4. PARTICIPATING BANKS/OUTLETS DUTIES:

Obtain a Profile Code from the phone of the candidate

Collect payment and sell ePIN via SMS to the phone of the applicant

If required, facilitate POS transaction,

Issue Proof of payment

If demanded by the CBT Centre, collect Centre Service Fees

5. SIX VARIOUS PAYMENT METHODS/MODES/PROCUREMENT OF ePIN FOR REGISTRATION (CHOOSE SUITABLE ONE)

This is accessible at the JAMB + CBT Centres State Offices, other POS kiosks and any CBT Center requesting it.

Select the bank to complete the payment and follow the instructions

The ePIN is then sent to the applicant’s unique phone number.

6. HOW TO RETRIEVE THE MISSING ePIN AFTER PAYMENT

If the ePIN is not obtained or lost, send [UTMEPIN] or [DEPIN] from the unique number to 55019 for UTME or DE, respectively.

The ePIN would then be recovered and delivered on the unique number of the candidate

After successful transaction and e-PIN retrieval, the applicant should proceed to complete his/her registration at any of the jamb-accredited cbt centers.

7. PROCESS OF REGISTRATION AT CBT CENTRES:

The ePIN is submitted by the applicant to any JAMB approved CBT Centre for completion of registration. The candidate’s name, as entered by the candidate on his/her phone when the profile is registered, is entered automatically by the CBT center on the e-PIN input.

N/B: Applicants should not register at any centre other than the accredited CBT Centre and the State Office of JAMB. It will identify and disqualify any candidate who is registered outside accredited centres.

BELOW IS THE PROCEDURE FOR THE EIGHT FOREIGN CENTRE ONLY:

In each of the eight countries, the registration fee for candidates from eight foreign countries is $20 or its similar. Applicants from eight foreign countries must download the completed application from the Board’s website (www.jamb.gov.ng) and submit it to the eight assigned centers with the fee as stated on the website.
