Burna Boy was born on July 2, 1991, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Burna Boy happens to be the first child of a family of three. His father was the CEO of a local welding company while his mother worked as a translator at the West African Chambers of Commerce.
He had his primary education at the Montessori Primary School, Lagos State, and grew up in Lagos State where he completed his secondary education at the Corona Secondary School, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Burna Boy in 2008, left for the UK in order to complete his tertiary education at a university in London. Although, due to some violence issues, he dropped out in the second year and came back to Nigeria to actualize his dreams.
