ZenMarket is a Japanese proxy shopping service where you can buy from thousands of online stores. Their international team based in Osaka provides you with the best online shopping experience so you can buy your favorite items with ease. 

Buying items from halfway across the world can be nerve-wracking and we try to make the experience as painless as possible. 

With over half a million registered users from all over the globe, they ensure language will never prevent you from using their service. Currently, they provide customer support in 10 different languages, including English, Japanese, Spanish, French, Chinese (Traditional/Simplified), Russian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, and Malay.

Zenplus Founder

While documenting this Zenplus review, I did my best to search and found no information on the founder of this platform.

Zenplus provides no verifiable information about who owns or runs the company on its website.

Zenplus Store Houses

Zenmarket.jp currently own two warehouses in Osaka – one in Kadoma City and another in Suita. Once they receive your orders, they will be shipped to either one of these warehouses where they will store them until you are ready to create your parcel. 

Then, they consolidate your packages (initial consolidation is free!) and ship them right to your doorstep. Their warehouse also offers optional services for your peace of mind, including a package reinforcement if you are shipping valuable or fragile items, as well as a photo service so you can check on the condition of your item before they ship it.

Zenplus Withdrawal

You can withdraw funds left on your balance within 180 days from your last payment if you paid with PayPal, or with your credit or debit card (via Stripe). The withdrawal amount should not exceed the total amount of your payments made through the payment system during the last 180 days. 

If a withdrawal is made within 180 days from your last payment, the fee incurred for depositing those funds will also be refunded to you. 

To withdraw funds please go to the payment tab on “My Account” and push the “Withdraw” button. 

Withdrawals are made manually, so it may take a couple of days to process.

Zenplus Payment System

You can make all payments on ZenMarket using the money in your account that you have deposited. If you buy from shops, you can deposit after you receive a quote. However, PayPal transactions may take up to several hours or more to post to your account. 

A bank transfer usually takes several days. To start bidding on auctions, you are required to make a deposit first. You can use your deposit for all payments within ZenMarket: paying for goods, bidding on auctions, or paying for international shipping.

Zenplus Shipping Methods

Zenmarket.jp offer you the following shipping methods for international shipping, which can be divided into two categories: Postal Service and Courier.

Postal Service: EMS, AVIA, SAL, Surface, DHLeCommerce

Courier: FedEx, UPS, DHL, SF Express, ECMS Express

• SF Express is available mainly for Asian countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc.
• ECMS Express is only available for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand.

Zenplus Charges

Next on Zenmarket.jp review is the charges. Zenplus charge only 300 JPY ($3 USD) per item no matter how many of the same item or how expensive the item is that you order. If you buy 3 identical T-shirts, our service fee will still be 300 JPY. But if you buy three T-shirts of different sizes or colors, we will charge our service fee for each item: 900 JPY in this case.

The fee is charged per box and is based on weight.

• Up to 4,999g – 1,000 JPY 
• 5,000g to 14,999g – 2,000 JPY 
• 15,000g to 29,999g – 3,000 JPY 
• 30,000g and heavier – 4,000 JPY

Is Zenplus Safe and Credible

The post office insurance covers only the declared value of the parcel. In the case you lower the value, you have to pay part of the undeclared value as your ZenMarket insurance to get protection for the full amount or a part of it. 

If your package gets lost or stolen, you should first file a claim to the post office for the declared value. If the post office refunds your declared value, they will refund you the undeclared part fully or partially. The insurance fee is calculated by a complicated formula which includes several factors such as number of lost parcels for a certain period for your country, parcel value etc.

If the real price of items in the parcel is over 200,000 JPY AND the declared price is less than 200,000 JPY, the insurance fee will be 11% of the real price of the parcel. most times for their own security reasons.

Is Zenplus Legit 

However, I don’t think it’s scam from the already listed reasons above. However, potential investors should conduct due diligence and research properly before making any investment.
