Considering the price of the phone, I would say it’s a good fit for those looking for mid-range devices to buy in 2020. Tecno Spark 3 comes in two variants, the spark 3 pro is the upgraded version of the regular spark 3.

Tecno Spark 3 Pro features a 6.2-inch display which is an upgrade to its predecessor Tecno spark 2 and comes with the full view 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android 9 pie, an upgrade from its direct sibling, Tecno spark 3 which runs on Android 8.

Camera and Connectivity

In terms of camera, the phone packs a dual rear camera of 13MP + 2MP on the rear with an f/20 aperture. For taking selfies, the phone features 8MP on the front display. Both cameras come with flashlights to ensure maximum clarity even in night mode. Tecno Spark 3 supports dual nano-SIM with support for 4G LTE. Although the Tecno spark 3 does not support 4G.

Storage

As far as the storage is concerned, the Tecno spark 3 pro features 2GB an upgrade to the spark 3 that comes with 1GB RAM, for the internal storage, Tecno spark 3 pro comes with 32GB storage with support for 256GB expandable external storage. 2GB of RAM is fairly okay, but why build a device timing on Android 9 pie with a 2GB of internal storage, it doesn’t even sound right.
The good news is that I think tecno has been seeing the negative reviews users give when it comes to their storage, probably the reason why they are upgrading their coming demand.

The Tecno spark 3 pro device is powered by a 3500mAh non-removable battery, but sadly it doesn’t support fast charging, but you are guaranteed of a long-lasting battery considering it’s a mid-range device. You can get up to 92 hours of standby usage.

The Tecno spark 3 pro phone was launched in April 2019 along with its sibling Tecno spark 3 and has been available on online and retail stores Nationwide. In Nigeria, you can get it from phone dealers Nationwide and it goes for about N43000 – N45000 depending on the location or vendor.

Processor and Performance

The Tecno spark 3 Pro is powered by a Quad-Core 2.0GHz processor, with MediaTek MT6580 chipset, as mentioned above, it runs on Android 9 pie and comes preinstalled with tecno’s own OS HiOS version 3.3. The phone comes with a Fingerprint sensor located at the rear of the device, below the bank camera. Tecno Spark 3 also supports tecno’s smart gesture features.

Although the phone has been available for over a year now, it still offers a very decent user interface and performance considering it’s a budget device.
