Small Doctor Biography

Small Doctor (Adekunle Temitope) was born on May 27, 1996, in Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria. His father however, hails from Ondo State.

He had both and primary and secondary education in his hometown.

Small Doctor attended the Orosan Nursery and Primary School, and the Oniwaya Secondary School, where he had completed his secondary education and bagged his secondary school leaving certificate.

After completing his secondary education, he proceeded and continued to the University of Lagos, Yaba, Lagos State.

He later dropped out of the university due to a reason we will be discussing a bit a later in this article.

Small Doctor Career

Just like many other artists, Small Doctor’s music career started right from when he was a kid.

The artist has also put in a lot of hardwork from when he was still very young.

He kept growing and building

Even though it all started well in UNILAG, Small Doctor’s passion for music came in way and the artist had to choose between his education and music.

This is when Small Doctor finally decided to quit schooling and focus fully on his music career.

Small Doctor got into the spotlight after the release of one of his his songs, “Gbagaun”. The song was widely accepted by a lot of Nigerians and became the word on the street then.

He’s also known for quite a number of hit songs some of which are Gbagaun, Anobi, Penalty, Mosquito Killer, and others.

On July 24, 2015, Small Doctor released his first studio album which was titled “Street Ambassador”.

The album had shown the guest appearances from other top artists and singers like Pasuma, Dre San and Young Legxy.

Small Doctor as well holds his annual musical concert in Lagos, known as the “Omo Better Concert”.

The event takes place at the 20,000 seating capacity Agege Stadium, and usually have the guest appearance of top artists like Zlatan Ibile, Naira Marley, and many others.
