Born Kofi Owusu Addo, Sarkodie was born in 1978 in Accra to an upper-middle-class family that was into multiple businesses. He completed his primary education at the Presbyterian Primary School and then proceeded to the Accra Academy for his secondary school education.

In 2014, Shatta Wale was ranked as one of Africa’s top 10 wealthiest musicians by Forbes magazine, with a net worth of $5 million US dollars. Okyeame Kwame is one of the wealthiest Ghanaian musicians and ranked third richest in our list of richest Ghanaian musicians today. He is an award-winning singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and poet. He has had seventeen albums since he started his music career in 2006.
He was born on December 10th 1979 to Yaa Samuel Agyei and Maame Helen Kofi Agyei in Sekondi-Takoradi. Kwame grew up with six siblings: four sisters (Rebecca, Joyce, Selina) and two brothers (Michael and Yusif).
His musical talent started to show when he was studying at the University of Ghana’s Arts Faculty where he met Edem Kodjo who introduced him to music.

Samini was born Samuel Osei Bonsu on July 22nd, 1981 in Tema, Ghana to an English mother and a Ghanaian father. He started his musical career at the age of 12 as a member of rap group called “The Streetsounds”. In 2002 he had his first debut single “Nana Kwame” which was released under Street Sounds Group. Daddy Lumba is one of the most successful Ghanaian musicians of all time. Lumba was a musician, singer, producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur.
In 1998 Daddy Lumba had his first major break when he signed to EMI Records to release his album “Daddy Lumba”. That same year he went on tour with Bob Marley’s son Ziggy Marley.
In 2002 Daddy Lumba released a song called “Fanti Girl” which stayed at the top of the charts for a long time.
In 2003 he became one of five African musicians to be honored by Fender guitars in California for his contribution to music in Africa. He also served as an ambassador for Ghana in Nigeria.
