Oxlade almost quit music and at the peak of quitting, he met Blaqbonez who did a musical collaboration with him.

A while later, he received a message from the award-winning artist, Davido, who told him he has listened to some of his songs and found them so nice and that he should continue pushing.

This was a very big encouragement which came through to Oxlade just when he needed it.

That was how he got spotted and his music started spreading like fire.

Oxlade released his EP, Oxygene, with the lead single O2 and this he said was inspired by his break up from the then Oxlade girlfriend.
