Nordstrom Scholarship Program 2022/2023 Application Portal Updates

The Nordstrom Scholarship Program is here again and is seeking to help 40 students by awarding them with scholarships worth $10,000.

However, to qualify, students must be high school juniors with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 and demonstrate financial need.

How to Apply

The Nordstrom Scholarship Program requires applicants to prepare an essay and submit it to Nordstrom. From year to year, this essay changes slightly.

Semi-finalists are then selected and must submit letters of recommendation from their high school teachers.

Students who are chosen as finalists will be interviewed by a preset selection committee. The committee consists of business executives, educators, community leaders, and representatives from Nordstrom.

 

Eligibility

To be considered for the Nordstrom Scholarship 2020/2021, candidates must complete the following requirements:

1. You must be a junior in high school.

2. From 9th to 11th grade, have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 (non-weighted) on a 4.0 scale.

3. Plan to attend a recognized four-year college or institution in the United States and be qualified to do so.

4. Participate in voluntary, community, and extracurricular activities with a strong commitment.

5. Make plans to apply for financial aid to help you pay for your education.

6. You have never been convicted of a crime.

 

Worth of a Scholarship

Successful applicants might receive up to $10000 for their college study through the Nordstrom Scholarship. This scholarship fund is awarded to 40 to 80 deserving students.

The money is sent directly to the four-year university where the student is enrolled. The payment responsibilities were scheduled to be delivered in four equal installments over a four-year period.

 

Nordstrom initially employed social media marketing and other forms of internet marketing to connect with students, but they also provided downloadable kits to senior high school faculty.

Scholarship Application Deadline

Unfortunately, the Nordstrom Scholarship Program came to an end in 2016, and Nordstrom Inc. has yet to start new programs or accept applications.
