JAMB Uploading Of O’level Result 2020 Closing Date Announced

The deadline for the uploading of O’level result 2020 on JAMB portal has been announced. JAMB uploading of result deadline 2020 is out.

What is the deadline for uploading of result on JAMB portal 2020? Is the uploading of result 2020 for every candidate? What is the consequence of not uploading O’level result on JAMB portal/website?

Those are the questions I am going to deal with in this guide.

JAMB uploading of result deadline/closing date 2020

These are some of the questions candidates have been asking.

Fortunately, I will answer all the question related to JAMB O’level result upload 2020 deadline in this article.

JAMB Upload Of O’level Result Deadline 2020

JAMB upload of O’level result does not close, and that is also true in 2020.

What does this mean?

I am saying you can upload your O’level result anytime you which to, JAMB does not close the portal for this.

However, various institutions have instructed their aspirants to upload their O’level result before a specific deadline date.

In order words, it is advisable to upload it before the Post UTME form for your school is released or before you apply.

However, the deadline date can also be determined by your school of choice. You are required to upload your WAEC/NECO result on JAMB website before your school of choice releases their admission list.

I have also published an article on “How to upload O’level result on JAMB portal 2020“, you should check it out to know how to upload your O’level result on JAMB website without any mistake.

Is JAMB O’level Result Upload For Every Candidate?

This is another question that candidates haven’t found an answer to.

If you are still wondering, “Will I upload my O’level result again if I didn’t use awaiting result during registration/if I have already uploaded my result during JAMB registration“. See the answer below.

You don’t need to re-upload your O’level result on JAMB website if you already uploaded it during JAMB 2020 registration.

If you still doubt this, continue reading the article below.

The only reason why all UTME 2017 candidates were asked to re-upload their result was because of the update in the JAMB portal last year.

Initially, candidates that scored B2,B3,C4,C5 % C6 were all in the same category as the grade options available during JAMB 2017 registration were

  • A
  • B/C
  • D/E
  • F

Definitely, if you scored B2 and another candidate scored C6, you are in the same category and will have to both chose B/C.

After JAMB realized that this was not right, the portal was updated with all the grades(A1,B2,B3,C4,C5,C6,D7,E8,F9) all available as separate options.

This will enable schools that use O’level as part of their aggregate(e.g OAU) to know what each candidate has.

If you ask any candidate that sat for JAMB 2017, they will tell confirm this. During the re-upload, the portal was updated with all grades.

However, in this year’s JAMB registration, the post was still updated the right way it was supposed to be. Also, JAMB didn’t mention ALL candidates but rather candidates that have not uploaded during registration.

Finally, a JAMB 2020 candidate(my friend) who uploaded his result during registration tried to re-upload his O’level result at JAMB CBT centre.

He said nothing changed in the result and it was not necessary.

With these few points of mine, I believe I’ve been able to convince and not to confuse you that “JAMB result upload 2020 is only for candidates that used awaiting result“.

That is all for now on “JAMB o’level result upload deadline/closing date 2020”. If you have any question, feel free to use the comment section below.
