Oils also protects the skin from evironmental damages which may result to acne/pimples, and aging. Oils like Rosehip oil, and Argan oil helps fights premature aging, and keeps the skin firm, youthful and Healthy.
ii. SERUMS
Serums are skin treatment components combined together to make a serum, it mostly Contains concentrated ingredients which makes it very possible to penetrate deep down into the skin.
- Serums are made with light ingredients with smaller molecules which increases its chances and ability to penetrate down into the skin. Serums are usually made with water, Alpha hydroxy acids such as (Glycolic acid, Lactic acid, Citric acid, Malic acid Mandelic acid), hydrating and collagen boosting ingredients such as, peptides, Hyaluronic and retinol.
The main difference between a serum and an oil is this:
Serums are made with ingredients with smaller molecules which enhances it’s ability to penetrate deep into the skin. While Oils has larger molecules, compared to serums. Oils can penetrate into the skin but not as deep as serum does.
