Have you been wondering how you can lock a specific page meant for specified or special readers on your blogger website? Congratulations you’re finally in the right place.

For wordpress users there are some certain plugings you need to install to enable you do this, or if you’re making use of classic editor, you can simply lock your posts by clicking on “Visibility” and do the necessary editings. But for blogspot users  you guys are indeed in the right place.

Locking of posts and pages on blogspot was not indeed possible before until the webmasters ventured a way out, though the WordPress users has been enjoying the privilege.

The process of locking a page meant for specified people and individuals was only possible in a blogging platform called “Wapka” though this platform has been outdated but its very good for  newbies bloggers to begin with, in the process of locking a page or post in wapka the use of codes are involved.

We have really thought of a way in which locking of a page would be possible in blogger and God being so kind we where successful, now we want to share it to all our readers.

Locking of pages and posts in blogger/blogspot

PROCEDURES

Log into your blogger dashboard >>select your blog>> click on “New post”

Now after clicking on “New post” a space or box will be provided where you will type in what ever you want to post.

At the top left corner bar you will see “COMPOSE” And “HTML” click on HTML

After clicking on HTML
Now paste the code provided below above the your  content/post  and then publish.

You can also change the password,
By doing this: Go to the red coloured texts

Change “zigihow” (which is the password) to your preferred password

Where it is written
http://www.error_page_url.com ‘;
}  

Simply change it to your blog’s URL
Example www.ngsup.com

Then publish your article and your content will be secured with your preferred password.

Note: You must place the code above your content/post before you publish, Remember to change the password to your preferred password, and also change the URL to yours.
