This is a process of exfoliating the skin with chemical substances such as glycolic acid, Citric acid, Lactic acid, Retin a, and so on this are chemical peels all they do is when its applied on the skin they scrap away the dead skin layer with immediate effect, the result is quick, you’ll even get to see your skin peeling off, but you won’t get hurt, this peels are natural and extracted from natural plants and substances, for example lactic acid is gotten form Milk, glycolic is one of the acids extracted from fruits containing high sugar content such as sugarcane, citric acid is gotten from citrus fruits such as lemon, lime, and sweet orange,  retin-a is is a synthetic vitamin A, which exfoliates the skin and slows down aging process. Chemical exfoliating substance comes in percentages or strengths its advicable to Start from the lowest strength and work your way up gradually to avoid getting irritations.

MANUAL EXFOLIATING METHOD
This are methods of Exfoliating that dosnt involves chemical exfoliating, this method can be done manually by an individual and this is mainly for those with sensitive skin or tender skin.

HOW CAN I MANUALLY EXFOLIATE MY SKIN?
There are many ways to exfoliate your skin manually, they are :

Mixture of honey and powdered sugar
This method is most used by individuals simply get a powdered suger weather white or brown sugar mix it with a teaspoon of honey, apply this mixture on the your face or any where you want to exfoliate, and rub it in a circular motion for 10minutes and wash off.

Mixture of lemon juice and powdered sugar
Cut a lemon fruit into half and dab it on a powderd suger and rub it on your face in a circular motion, you are purifying your skin pores.

Mixture of sea salt, sugar and almond oil
Get a sea salt mix it with sugar and add one table spoon of almond oil apply this mixture on the face and rub it on a circular motion for 10minutes.

Sugar contains glycolic acid, lemon contains citric acid that’s why its mostly used for manual exfoliating


USAGE OF PRODUCTS THAT CLOGS THE SKIN

What is skin clogging?

This is a process where by the skin pores are blocked by impurities, some of the skincare products you use contains skin clogging ingredients which will harms your skin, those that has an oily skin are at more risk of getting a clogged pores.

If you’re an individual with oily skin, you have to use oil free moisturizers .

Moisturizing ingredients such as Shea butter, Cocoa butter ,coconut oil, wheat gram oil, sesame oil, this are heavy oils and are not liklli suitable for individuals with oily skin, because they contain high fatty acid, and may liklli trigger acne (pimples)  due to excessive sebum. But they suit dry skin. And can keep a dry skin supple soft and well moisturized all day.

After taking your shower when you’re about to apply your skincare products don’t entirely wipe off the water on your body before applying your skincare products, what do I mean by this? Water serves as an essential sink in for your lotion, as it aids your cream or lotions sink into the skin, when ever you want to apply your lotion make such your face and body is alittle wet (not too wet) before application of your skincare products, though this is not applicable to oils.

Before you apply oils make sure your skin is well dried as oils dosnt mix or emulsify with water.

GET PRODUCTS THAT ARE MEANT FOR YOUR SKIN
Some skincare products are meant for oily skinned individuals and some are also meant for dry skinned individuals, so its advicable to know your skin type to enable you make the right decision.

Skincare products meant for oily skinned individuals are normally manufactured with skin drying ingredients and less moisturizing ingredients, if you happen to have a dry skin that particular product isn’t for you as its going to break you out or irritate your skin.

Skincare products meant for dry skinned individuals are mostly manufactured with heavy moisturizing ingredients such as vitamin E, Also vera, grapeseed oil, and so on, as an individual with an oily skin that particular product may break you out or worse irritate your skin.
