I have written alot of articles on how to fix some issues related to Google AdSense. But in this very article I’m going to cover 14 Google AdSense challenges and how to fix them.

1. What You Should Know Before Applying For Google AdSense.

You cannot just set up your blog and just apply for AdSense. Your approval will surely be denied. There are some due process one needs to undergo before applying for Google AdSense which will yeild a successful approval.

Applying for Google AdSense comes with it’s own proceedures. You have to go through step by step analysis.

By entering your site name, phone number for verification, your email and the rest of them.

3. How To Fix Scrapped Content Reply From Google AdSense & Get Approved.

Probably after applying for Google AdSense and you get an email from Google which says:

Scrapped means Copied. Google Thinks you Copied Content/ Post from Other Blog. So if you do indulge in this act, then your site can never get approved, unless you fix it.

Although some people don’t copy other people’s content or plagiarize but Google still gives them scrapped Content reply each time they apply for Google AdSense.

Other possible reasons why Google sends you a scrapped Content reply are:

  • Non quality Contents
  • Using images or pictures on web
  • Using Synonymous Titles

4 How To Fix: Valuable inventory: Under construction

As stated in our Program policies, we may not show Google ads on pages or apps where content is unnecessarily difficult or frustrating to navigate or interact with. This includes pages or apps that are under construction, not functioning, or lead to error messages.

If you got the reply above from Google after applying for AdSense, then it means your site is either under construction, or does not have enough Content. How do I fix this?

Solution

According to Google AdSense policies, your site must be at least 3-6 months old, with about 20-30 quality articles with atleast 700-800 words for each before applying for AdSense.

This is to say AdSense only consider established sites (say, at least six months old) with lots of content (say, 20+ highly original, useful, longform text articles.).

So it’s up to you to do your home work. You have to completely comply to Google AdSense policies if you want your site to get approved.

5. How To Fix: Site down or unavailable

Probably you applied for Google AdSense and you got the reply below:

We’ve found policy violations on (Your site name) that are preventing your site from being approved:

We found that your site was down or unavailable. We suggest that you check your application to see if there was a typo in the URL you submitted. When your site is operational, you can resubmit your application. We’ll be happy to take another look at your application.

Solution

If you got this response from Google AdSense after application. Then it means two things.

1. It’s either your robots.txt file is blocking access to all your categories in the menu. Therefore you are blocking the AdSense review bot from completing its review of your site.

How do I fix it?

Remove the lines (-) from the robots.txt file for now, and if you feel you really need them, then you can replace them after Google must have reviewed your site.

Also make sure you have submitted the “sitemap” of your site in Google search console and your site is indexed in google.

2. It maybe your site is down, or not reachable, or unavailable. When your site is completely offline, Google AdSense review bot won’t have access to your site.

You apply for Google AdSense and you get an email reply for Google which says:

As stated in our Program policies, sites or apps displaying Google ads should provide substantial and useful information to the user. Users should be able to easily navigate through the site or app to find what products, goods, or services are promised. Examples of misguided navigation include, but are not limited to:

  • False claims of downloadable or streaming content
  • Linking to content that does not exist
  • Redirecting users to irrelevant and/or misleading webpages
  • Text on a page unrelated to the topic and/or business model of the website.

Solution.

  • Get rid of blog achieve widgets
  • Make sure you write quality and non plagiarized articles
  • If you post videos on your blog. Host your videos on YouTube on a page made for your business but also post them on your related posts.
  • Ensure you don’t link your posts to Contents that does not exist.
  • Ensure your articles or posts does not contains links that redirect users to irrelevant and/or misleading webpages.
