Common Australia Visa Types and Costs 2022

An Australian Visa is an endorsement or stamp on a passport or other travel document held by a foreign citizen entering Australia. This document is issued by a visa agency authorized by the Australian Federal Government to indicate that they are allowed to enter and exit the country or pass through the country. E-visa

The Australian Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is a visa that Australian Immigration pioneered in 1996. This online application system was launched for the convenience of foreigners in order to improve the efficiency of visa reviews for tourists/business people entering Australia.

In the future, countries including the United States, Sri Lanka, etc. will also adopt electronic visas as a visa-free treatment for foreign tourists/business people entering the country.

Tourist VISA

Materials Needed

  1. The original passport, if you have an old passport, please provide it alongside;
  2. Four two-inch colour photos with white background;
  3. Photocopy of ID card and family register;
  4. A copy of the business license of the applicant’s unit or a copy of the organization code certificate affixed with the official seal;
  5. The applicant’s work certification letter in any language (indicating name, gender, date of birth, entry time, position, leave time and annual salary);
  6. The applicant’s detailed bank deposit certificate;
  7. The bank card’s half-year turnover details (printed and stamped by the bank);
  8. A copy of the real estate certificate and a copy of the automobile driving certificate;
  9. A copy of the marriage certificate or a copy of the divorce certificate;
  10. Retirees should provide a copy of their retirement certificate (items 4 and 5 cannot be provided);

Family Visit VISA

The family visa is also called the Australia-visiting relatives visa and is valid for six months or one year with each stay lasting 90 days.

Before any visit is possible, Australia needs to provide you with:

  1. The original invitation letter issued by your child or relatives;

  2. A copy of your child or relative’s work certificate or school certificate and student ID;

  3. A photocopy of the first page of your child’s or relative’s passport and a photocopy of the visa;

  4. Proof of residence in Australia of your child or relative;

  9. A copy of the marriage certificate or a copy of the divorce certificate;

  10. Retirees should provide a copy of their retirement certificate (items 4 and 5 cannot be provided);
