DJ Cuppy after a few years in Ikeja, moved to the United Kingdom where she had obtained a school leaving certificate, GCSEs and A-Levels, to proceed with her education in London.

She attended the Queen’s College Independent School in London where she had graduated earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics. The graduation event was said to have taken place in July 2014.

A year after graduating from the University, DJ Cuppy went to New York University where she had completed her Master’s Degree in Music Business.

DJ Cuppy officially started her career as a Disk Jockey in 2014. During her first year, she played in several occasions in within and outside the country.

DJ Cuppy marked the release of her first compilation mix in July 2014 and it was officially launched in New York in late 2014 around September. She also marked the launch of her music record label, which was named Red Velvet Music Group.

DJ Cuppy was enlisted on the Forbes’s 2015 April/May issue of Woman Africa.

DJ Cuppy had her first DJ tour in August 2016 and the tour was done in 8 major countries in Africa; Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania. It was themed “Cuppy Takes Africa”.
