Company History

Winco foam is a manufacturer of comofort in Nigeria, it was esablished by The company, Chief G.I. Okafor. He started the company on a lean prunciple and start to manufacture mattress in smale scale in the early 70s.

The company started with foam blocks,  small scale companies buy foam blocks from other magnified foam companies and use the blocks in making their own mattresses that are market-ready.

With time, this modus operandi soon change as WINCO acquired her batch foam ÒboxÓ machine which will enable it to manufacture blocks in-house.

Winco in 1991 bagged her first continuous foam production machine that allows it to produce finer and qualitative mattress. Owing to how the market accepts WINCO brand the company proceeds to establish a second foam plant which was institutionalised in the eastern part of Nigeria, to support the smooth sailing of production in the plant and as well enhance production quality, the company proceed to acquire a second continuous production equipment machine and deployed on the manufacturing site.

Come 2000, WINCO acquired a third continuous production machine, this time a state-of-the-art production machine sufficient enough to replace the Lagos plant.

In little, another block was also purchased for Abuja plant in order to be able to cater for the Northern part of Nigeria.

Winco has since grown to be one of the best mattress brands in the world today. It has found its way to the heart and house for many Nigerians all owing to her top-quality products that cater to several areas of Needs of the People.
