Olevel exams and UTME is the primary requirements to apply to any university in Nigeria to study Medicine and surgery.
The olevel exam requirements precisely have to do with having good credits in at least Five (5) SSCE (WAEC/NECO) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics Chemistry, and Biology. Some schools accept a combination of O Level results up to two sittings.
Medicine is Nigeria span up to six years of study for UTME entrants and five years for matured Direct Entry Students who usually start their program from 200 level (year two).
The second aspect of the requirement is the UTME, prospective medicine and surgery students are required to sit for the JAMB UTME exams with these subject combinations: Use of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have up to a minimum score of 240 above in JAMB examination.
