-Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq put up the name of a 26-year-old National Youth Service Corps member as a commissioner nominee to the State House of Assembly and she assumed office in May 2019, she took over the office from 27-year-old Oluwaseun Fakorede who is from Oyo State.
-Kolo currently holds office as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Kwara State.
-Joana Nnazua Kolo hails from Edu local government area of Kwara State, she was able to make it to the Kwara State government’s cabinet alongside four other women working with the state’s governor.
-She is the youngest commissioner in the history of Kwara State and Nigeria. Joana Nnazua Kolo is a graduate of Library Science from Kwara State University (KWASU) in 2018.
-Miss Kolo observed her National Youth Service (NYSC) in Jigawa State, with an education setup named Model Boarding Junior Secondary School Guri.
-Joana is known for her strong advocacy for community development and grassroots support.
-Joana Kolo is still very much single and yet unmarried.
