ofcourse everyone loves that fresh scent when your bathing with a soap, makes you feel on top of the world, which also leaves your bathroom smelling nice.

Bathing soaps are meant to smells nice, with a romantic lavender or minty scent, I’m so much in love with lavender, it smells like wooow!!.

So in this very tutorial I want to disclose a stress free and a simplified method of making a well scented bathing soap yourself from the comfort of your home.

Here we go:

You’ll be needing

2 clean mixing bowl
1/4 of water
A wooden spoon or hand mixer
1-2 soap base or any soap of your choice.
Any herb of your choice (either rose, lavender, mint, etc)
Any essential oil of your choice (either orange, Jasmine, Lemon, peppermint.

Procedures

Step 1

You have to make your choice of herbs or flowers and crumble/crush them up. Place them in your mixing bowl. Incase you want to achieve a more concentrated scent for your soap, pick just one single herb. For instance, you can decide to choose to work with either lavender, mint, or both.

Step 2

Once you have your herbs in a bowl, go ahead and pour 1/4th cup of boiling water over your herbs.

Step 3

Once you have your mixture set and done then add 5 or 6 drops of essential oil to the pot of herb mixture.

If you are unsure of which essential oils to choose from, here are some ideas: Peppermint, RoseLemon, Orange, Spearmint, Cinnamon (use sparingly), Jasmine, Bergamot, or YlangYlang.

Note: Keep in mind that you might not want to mix too many different scents, or else you will end up with a product that is too over powering.

Step 4

After dropping in your oils, go ahead and stir the mixture thoroughly until everything has been mixed evenly.

Step 5

Get your second mixing bowl and shred your bar of soap base or any soap of your choice as finely aspossible.

You can also cut them to smaller particles either using a kitchen knife or a grater.

Step 6

Now, pour the boiling water that contains your herbal and oil mixture over the shredded soap base Make sure the water covers the soap shreds completely.

This is to melt down the soap base to a liquid form.

Step 7

With your wooden spoon, or hand mixer go ahead and mix the herbal water and shredded soap base or any bar soap of your choice, until all of the soap has completely melted.

Make sure that all of the herbalherba are evenly distributed and mixed and not clumped throughout the soap mixture.
