Bitcoin Rises to Almost $40k Following Elon Musk Tweet; Canadian Company Launches Car that Mines Cryptos

There is expectation of a return to growth in the ecosystem.

Bitcoin (BTC) opened the day with growth that took it back above $37K, after navigating in the $35K waters for almost two days. The cryptocurrency benefited from growth of at least one other coin, which took the attention of the day. As of press time, the price of BTC is $39,028.

The big star of the day, after so long, was dogecoin (DOGE). The cryptocurrency meme soared 30% in the last few hours, after the Coinbase exchange announced that it would start trading the asset.

From now on, we will begin accepting incoming transfers from DOGE to Coinbase Pro. Trading will begin at 9 am Pacific Time (PT), on Thursday, June 3, if liquidity conditions are met,” reads the publication of the firm led by Brian Armstrong.

Elon Musk Strikes Again

In the immediate aftermath of the announcement, DOGE enthusiasts also got another boost from Elon Musk.

The Tesla CEO reappeared in the ecosystem after being questioned for several weeks, posting a photo of his childhood belongings, along with a montage of the famous Shiba dog.

Canadian brand Daymak Announce Car That Mines Crypto

The crypto industry does not stop bringing surprises with its new projects. This time, it comes in form of an electric car capable of mining cryptocurrencies while parked and charging.

Canadian electric car manufacturer Daymak announced its new vehicle for 2023, and those responsible for the firm gave some advances on the features that it will have incorporated.

Spiritus”. This is the name of the vehicle that will marry the automotive industry to crypto mining, and that appears right in the middle of environmental concerns about the industry. The car will come equipped with an “industry leading” GPU and will use Daymak Nebula mining hardware. In addition, it will be charged with solar energy and will have Nebula’s crypto wallet built in.

Daymak’s New Spiritus Expected to be Launched in 2023

While crypto mining has been at the centre of criticism in recent weeks from those who question its energy consumption – especially since Elon Musk’s announcement that Tesla would stop accepting payments in BTC – sustainable projects have accelerated.

In that line of thought, Daymark highlighted its new car as a “green crypto mining node”, which promises to give a buzz in the industry.

Daymark presented the new vehicle as “the first car in history with mining hardware and cryptocurrency technology programmed in the user interface” and they have already confirmed that it will be capable of mining bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH) and dogecoin (DOGE).

While most vehicles depreciate while in your garage, the Nebula Miner will earn you money while your Spiritus is parked.

The car will have a built-in screen where the controls for mining will be.

We envision a future where highway tolls, parking and drive-thru ordering will be paid directly on the go with crypto. Your online invoices and your banking operations can be handled through the same software platform paid in crypto“, enthused Aldo Baiocchi, President of Daymak.

The “Spiritus” will have two models; one “luxury” and another “definitive”, which will cost around USD 20,000 and USD 150,000, respectively. Both will have the same built-in mining system, but will vary in the technical compatibility of the car: battery, charging system, color, top speed, and more.
