This is usually because they have not done their due diligence to check up on the Accreditation standing of the intending university

Even if the University claims that they are registered, it is not enough word from them, it is expected on the part of the prospective student to check on their legal standing as claimed, it is not enough to have started registration as they usually tell a lot of their victims.

The big question is; have they been duly approved and licensed by the Nigerian government to operate as a degree-awarding institution in Nigeria?

You don’t want to fall a victim of an un-approved university, any tertiary institution or university that is yet to be duly approved by the government is considered illegal to operate, sadly for many students and parents, they would have committed a lot of years and resources before they come to realize that the private university does not have any legal backing from the Nigerian government.

Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti
